The Flying Eyes [US]:
The Flying Eyes are a heavy, psychedelic rock band hailing from Baltimore, Maryland. Their name comes from a 1962 science fiction novel about giant, disembodied eyes that descend from outer space to control humanity…
Since forming, they have played support gigs for bands such as The Raveonettes, The Black Angels, Ghost and Dan Auerbach among many others.
The Flying Eyes’ self-titled debut album was released in 2010 followed by second album “Done So Wrong” in 2011. Both albums featured magnificent psychedelic cover artwork by Kiryk Drewinski and a wealth of intense songs that would form the band’s repertoire the first years.
With the two first albums The Flying Eyes have swiftly achieved a notable following in Europe with extensive club tours and festival appearances.
In July 2013, The Flying Eyes released their third album “Lowlands” (produced by Rob Girardi and mixed by Chris “Frenchie” Smith), which was paid for entirely by the support of their fans through Kickstarter.
In summer 2014 The Flying Eyes issued “The Leave It All Behind Sessions”, a compilation of country/folk minded songs recorded since the band’s formation in 2009. It reflects a band who, throughout their musical journey, has explored more soulful sides of songwriting buried beneath walls of distortion.
The Flying Eyes are currently recording an album but will be taking a break from the studio to return to Europe as they celebrate their 10th Anniversary as a band.
Michael Denner (Mercyful Fate, King Diamond) says: “Sea can be the next big thing. Strong, powerful, melodic with a 70’s vibe and one hell of a singer similar to our heroes from Deep Purple, Rainbow, Whitesnake etc”
SEA is Denmark’s new heavy rock act. Their raw and challenging style is a blend of the classic heavy rock from the giants of the past and their own deniminfused expression. Strong vocals, heavy riffs, catchy choruses, twin guitar soloing and a mission to keep the guitar led rock alive, combine into making the band a huge adrenaline boost into the Danish music scene.
The bands sound has nuances reminiscent of bands such as Baroness, Rival Sons and legendary bands like Thin Lizzy, Blue Öyster Cult and Kansas.
Their award winning debut album has received world praise from both critics, fans and rock and metal legends. It has brought SEA two High Voltage Rock Awards and several award nominations.
Cave Head [DK]:
Cave Head is a Hard Rock 4 piece Band! Straight out of Nørrebro! Cave Head plays a healthy roundhouse kick of heavy rock n’ roll with splinters from old school metal. Slamming riffs and catchy melodies, glazed with twin guitar soloing and lots of attitude on top. With the self-titled EP from 2015 and a new one in the comings, the band is ready to rock out!
