Libia Castro og Ólafur Ólafsson frumsýna nýtt myndbandsverk, Illusion Woman – Study #1 í Vasulka – Stofa / Vasulka Chamber, Listasafni Íslands. Ræða Illusion Woman, skrifuð af breska heimspekingnum, aktívistanum og femínistanum Ninu Power ásamt Libiu og Ólafi, er yfirlýsing um efnahagsástandið og pólitískt andrúmsloft í Evrópu og víðar eftir hrunið 2008, og spáir fyrir um tvenns konar framtíðarhorfur.
Einnig verður serían World at Crossroads, sem inniheldur einnar mínútu langar kvikmyndir, frumsýnd. Listamennirnir hafa séð um listræna stjórn, val inn í seríuna í samstarfi við RIFF og The One Minutes Institute í Hollandi.
Haldnar verða umræður um verk listamanna á opnuninni ásamt drykk í boði Listasafns Íslands. Illusion Woman – Study #1 og World at a Crossroads verða sýndar ókeypis í Listasafni Íslands á opnunartíma.

A new video by Ólafur Ólafsson and Libia Castro will be premiered at Vasulka – Stofa / Vasulka Chamber, in the National Gallery of Iceland. Illusion Woman’s speech, written by Nina Power, British philosopher, activist and feminist, with Libia and Ólafur, is a plea and manifesto, reflecting on the socio-economic and political situation in Europe and beyond since the financial crash of 2008, and forecasting two possible futures.
World at a crossroads, a series which includes one minute long films, will also be premiered. Ólafur and Libia selected the films for this series in collaboration with RIFF and The One Minutes Institute in The Netherlands.
Following the premiere there will be discussions and drinks. Illusion Woman – Study#1 and World at a crossroads can be watched for free during opening hours of the National Gallery.
