Musicien de folk anatolien, Özgür joue du saz depuis son plus jeune âge et s’est produit dans de nombreux lieux d’Istanbul, la ville où il est né et a grandi. Ses influences sont multiples et cosmopolites, aux frontières du folk et du rock. Pour son premier album, qui sortira prochainement, il collabore avec le producteur caennais Nicolas Varin (Gomina, Veik).

His influences are multiple and cosmopolitan, on the frontiers of folk and rock. For his forthcoming debut album, he is collaborating with Caen-based producer Nicolas Varin (Gomina, Veik).

Músico folclórico de Anatolia, Özgür toca el saz desde muy joven y ha actuado en numerosos locales de Estambul, la ciudad donde nació y creció. Sus influencias son múltiples y cosmopolitas, en las fronteras del folk y el rock. Para su próximo álbum de debut, colabora con el productor de Caen Nicolas Varin (Gomina, Veik).

Özgür ist ein anatolischer Folkmusiker, der seit seiner Kindheit Saz spielt und in Istanbul, der Stadt, in der er geboren und aufgewachsen ist, an vielen Orten aufgetreten ist. Seine Einflüsse sind vielfältig und kosmopolitisch, an der Grenze zwischen Folk und Rock. Für sein erstes Album, das demnächst erscheinen wird, arbeitet er mit dem Produzenten Nicolas Varin (Gomina, Veik) aus Caen zusammen.
